Cancellation Policy – Digital Marketing Services
1. Introduction
This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which clients may cancel the digital marketing services provided by our company. By purchasing or subscribing to any of our services, you agree to be bound by this policy. The purpose of this document is to maintain transparency, protect both parties, and ensure a fair process in case of service termination.
2. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all services offered by us, including but not limited to Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing (SMM), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, website development, lead generation, branding, and other digital solutions. It covers both one-time projects and recurring monthly services.
3. Cancellation Request Process
Clients who wish to cancel a service must submit a formal cancellation request through our official email or registered communication channel. The request must include:
- Client name and registered contact details
- Service or project name
- Reason for cancellation
- Preferred cancellation date
Verbal or informal cancellation requests will not be considered valid.
4. Notice Period Requirement
For monthly or recurring services, clients must provide a minimum of 7 days’ prior written notice before the next billing cycle. If the notice period is not followed, the upcoming billing cycle may still be charged.
For one-time or project-based services, cancellation requests will be evaluated based on the stage of the project at the time of request.
5. Cancellation Before Service Initiation
If a client requests cancellation before any work has started, the request may be accepted without any deduction, except for applicable transaction or processing fees. However, this is subject to internal verification and approval.
6. Cancellation After Work Has Started
Once the work has commenced, including activities such as research, planning, strategy creation, account setup, or campaign initiation, the service is considered active and cancellation may not be fully applicable. In such cases:
- The client will be charged for the work already completed
- Any remaining balance may not be refundable
- Deliverables completed up to that point may be shared with the client
7. Non-Cancellable Services
Certain services are non-cancellable once initiated due to the nature of digital work. These include:
- Paid advertising campaign setup and execution
- SEO audits and strategy reports
- Custom software or website development after project kickoff
- Any third-party tool subscriptions purchased on behalf of the client
8. Ongoing Monthly Services
For services like SEO, social media management, and performance marketing, cancellation will only be effective at the end of the current billing cycle. No mid-cycle cancellations will be entertained unless specifically agreed in writing.
9. Impact of Cancellation
Upon successful cancellation:
- All ongoing work will be stopped
- Access to internal tools, dashboards, or accounts managed by us may be revoked
- Final reports or deliverables (if applicable) will be shared based on completed work
The client will not be entitled to any services beyond the cancellation effective date.
10. Fees and Adjustments
Any advance payments made by the client will be adjusted against the work completed up to the cancellation date. If the value of completed work exceeds the advance payment, the client will be liable to pay the remaining balance.
11. No Refund Guarantee
Cancellation does not automatically entitle the client to a refund. Refunds, if applicable, will be governed by our separate Refund Policy.
12. Company-Initiated Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel or terminate services under the following circumstances:
- Non-payment or delayed payment by the client
- Violation of terms and conditions
- Misuse of services or unethical practices
- Lack of communication or cooperation from the client
- Legal or compliance issues
In such cases, no refund will be provided for the remaining period.
13. Client Responsibilities During Cancellation
Clients are responsible for:
- Clearing all outstanding dues
- Providing necessary confirmation for service termination
- Ensuring proper handover of accounts or assets (if required)
Failure to comply may delay the cancellation process.
14. Third-Party Costs
Any third-party costs incurred during the service period (such as ad spend, software subscriptions, or tools) are non-refundable and must be borne by the client, even after cancellation.
15. Re-Activation of Services
If a client wishes to resume services after cancellation, a new agreement may be required. Previous pricing, timelines, or commitments may not apply.
16. Force Majeure
We shall not be held responsible for delays or inability to process cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, server downtime, or government restrictions.
17. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Clients are encouraged to review this page periodically.
18. Acceptance of Policy
By availing of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy.
